Display shows COd or COLD, and the spa will not start normal heating until the temperature rises.
Cold Start Protection
COL
Display shows COL or COOL and heater does not run; pumps may operate normally.
Cold Water Protection / Cool Mode
dE
The display shows dE or DE, and the spa may not respond to keypad inputs.
Keypad Communication Error
dr
The display shows 'dr' or 'DR' and the heater shuts off; the spa may show low heat or no heat.
Dry Fire / Inadequate Water in Heater
dY
Display shows dY or DY after dr; spa will not heat until reset.
Persistent Dry Heater Lockout
EC
Display shows EC or ECO and spa heats less frequently; temperature may drop between cycles.
Economy Mode Active
FLC
The display shows 'FLC' (flow closed) even when the pump is off; the spa may not heat or may shut down.
Flow Switch Stuck Closed
FLO
The display shows 'FLO' and the spa will not heat; the circulation pump may run briefly then stop.
Low Water Flow / Flow Switch Open
GFCI
The display is blank, and the external GFCI indicator shows tripped; the spa will not power on.
Ground Fault Interruption
HL
The display shows 'HL' or 'HLo' and the spa shuts down; the heater may stop and pumps may be disabled.
High Limit Overheat Trip
ICE
Display shows ICE or IC and pumps run automatically; heater may cycle to prevent freezing.
Freeze Protection Mode
LOC
Display shows LOC or LOCK and buttons do not respond.
Panel Lock / Child Lock Enabled
OH
The display shows 'OH' or 'OHH' and the spa shuts down completely; the water may feel excessively hot.
Spa Water Overheat Condition
OHt
The display shows OHt or OHT, and the spa shuts down the heater and possibly the pumps.
Heater Tube Overheat
P1
The display shows a P1 error, and Pump 1 will not start or runs erratically.
Pump 1 Drive or Overload Fault
P2
The display shows a P2 error, and Pump 2 does not operate or trips the breaker.
Pump 2 Drive or Overload Fault
PF
The display shows PF or PFL, and the spa will not run; this may occur after a power outage.
Power Failure / Low Line Voltage Detected
Prr
Display shows Prr or PR and spa may not heat; pumps may run normally.
Pressure Switch or Flow Verification Error

Display shows PSH or PSH1 and spa may shut down heater.
Pressure Switch Stuck High / Closed When It Should Be Open

Primary Temperature Sensor Fault

The display shows 'Sn2' or 'SENS2' and the spa may not heat or may shut down.
High-Limit or Secondary Sensor Fault
Symptom
Air controls (venturis) do not introduce air; jets feel flat even with air knobs open.
Air Induction Failure
Symptom
Excessive vibration or rattling from spa cabinet when jets are on high speed.
Mechanical Vibration / Imbalanced Pump
Symptom
Jets are weak, or no water comes out of the jets even though the pump is running.
Restricted Water Flow / Air Lock
Symptom
Loud humming from the pump but no water movement; the pump may trip the breaker after a short time.
Seized Pump Motor or Impeller Obstruction
Symptom
Persistent foamy water even after rinsing filters; foam increases when the jets are on.
Water Chemistry Imbalance / Contamination
Symptom
Some or all jets do not light up; LED lighting is dim, flickering, or off.
LED Lighting Circuit Failure
Symptom
Spa runs, but water slowly loses heat and never reaches the set temperature.
Insufficient Heating Capacity / Heat Loss
Symptom
Spa shell surface around jets shows discoloration, scaling, or roughness.
Scale and Mineral Deposit Buildup
Symptom
Strong chemical or musty odor from the spa water.
Poor Sanitation / Biofilm Growth

The ozonator indicator is on, but no bubbles appear from the ozonator jet.
Ozone Injection Failure

The spa makes loud banging or knocking noises when pumps start or stop.
