Possible Causes
Shorted jet pump motor, Ground fault in heater element, Faulty ozonator, Damaged wiring insulation contacting the metal frame
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Do not repeatedly reset a tripping breaker. Shock and fire hazards are possible.
- Identify when it trips: Note whether the breaker trips when jets are activated, when heat is called for, or randomly.
- Visual inspection: With power OFF, inspect pump motors, the heater, and the ozonator for burn marks, melted insulation, or water intrusion.
- Isolate suspect device (technician recommended): A professional can disconnect one component at a time and test operation to find the faulty part.
Once the faulty component is identified, replace it with an Evolution Spas-compatible part. Due to electrical risk, this repair is best left to a qualified technician.
