Possible Causes
Deteriorated jet gasket, Cracked jet body, Loose jet retaining nut, Chemical damage to seals
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and lower water level below the leaking jets before disassembly.
- Inspect jet face: Remove the jet insert (if removable) and inspect the body for cracks.
- Access rear of jet: From the equipment side or by removing side panels, locate the back of the leaking jet. Check for a loose retaining nut.
- Replace gasket: If the gasket is flattened or brittle, remove the jet body, clean the shell surface, and install a new Hanscraft jet gasket before reassembling.
Multiple leaking jets may indicate chemical imbalance; correct water chemistry to extend gasket life.
