Display shows LOC or a lock icon; buttons do not respond, or only limited functions work.

Note: LOC is usually a user lockout feature, not a fault.

• Unlock the panel: Press and hold the designated button combination (often Temp Up + Temp Down or Light + Temp) for several seconds to clear the lock. Refer to your Lifesmart manual for the exact sequence.
• Check for stuck buttons: Inspect the topside panel for any buttons that feel stuck or do not click properly. Gently work them free.
• Dry moisture: If the panel is wet, dry it thoroughly and try unlocking it again.
• Panel replacement: If LOC will not clear and buttons are unresponsive, the topside control panel may need replacement.
