Sleep mode enabled
Sn1
The control panel displays Sn1, and the spa will not heat or may shut down.
Primary temperature sensor (sensor 1) failure or out-of-range reading
Sn2
The control panel displays Sn2, and the spa may not heat or may shut down.
Secondary temperature sensor (sensor 2 or hi-limit sensor) failure or out-of-range reading
— —
Display shows dashes or blank segments instead of temperature; the spa may not respond.
No temperature data / communication fault between topside and control pack
Symptom
Air controls do not introduce air into jets; jets feel flat with only water flow.
Air induction failure
Symptom
One or more jets have completely stopped flowing while others work normally.
Individual jet blockage or failure
Symptom
Ozone indicator is on but there is no ozone smell or visible bubbles from ozone injector.
Ozone generator failure or injector blockage
Symptom
Spa cabinet or shell vibrates excessively when jets are on high speed.
Excessive vibration from pump or misaligned plumbing
Symptom
Spa cover is extremely heavy, sagging, and difficult to remove; condensation and heat loss are evident.
Waterlogged or failed spa cover
Symptom
Spa lights do not turn on, but all other functions work normally.
LED lighting circuit or transformer failure
Symptom
Spa makes loud banging or knocking noises when pumps start or stop.
Water hammer or loose plumbing
Symptom
Spa water is cloudy, foamy, or has a strong odor despite normal operation.
Water chemistry imbalance or inadequate filtration
Symptom
Strong chemical or plastic smell from equipment bay or control pack area.
Overheating electrical component or melting insulation
Symptom
The circulation pump is noisy, rattling, or grinding during operation.
Worn circulation pump bearings or cavitation
Symptom
The jets are weak or some seats have very little water pressure.
Reduced jet flow
Symptom
The main jet pump does not start; pressing the Jets button causes only a click or humming sound.
Jet pump motor failure or seized impeller
Symptom
The spa heats very slowly or cannot reach the set temperature, especially in cold weather.
Insufficient heating performance
Symptom
The spa powers on but will not heat; the temperature stays well below the set point with no heater indicator.
Heater not activating
Symptom
The spa trips the GFCI breaker immediately or shortly after turning on.
Ground fault or short circuit in spa equipment
Symptom
The spa will not power on at all; the control panel is completely dead, with no lights or display.
No power to the spa control pack
Symptom
The water level in the spa drops noticeably over a day or two with no visible equipment bay leak.
Hidden plumbing leak in the shell or jet plumbing
Symptom
Topside control panel buttons are unresponsive or only some buttons work.
Keypad failure or moisture intrusion
Symptom
Water is leaking from the equipment bay under the spa.
Plumbing or component leak in the equipment area
