Possible Causes

High level of surfactants from soaps or lotions, Low calcium hardness, Old or contaminated water, Overuse of defoamer chemicals

Safety first: Chemical handling requires gloves and eye protection.

Test water: Use a test strip to check pH, alkalinity, and calcium hardness. Adjust to Sunrise Spas' recommended ranges.
Shock the spa: Add a non-chlorine shock or chlorine shock per label directions to oxidize contaminants.
Drain and refill: If foam persists, drain the spa completely, wipe the shell to remove residues, clean filters, and refill with fresh water.
Limit soaps: Rinse bathing suits thoroughly in clean water only and shower before using the spa.
