How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power at the breaker before opening the control box or touching heater wiring.

- Verify the set temperature is higher than the current water temperature.
- Ensure the spa is not in Economy or Sleep mode.
- Check for flow-related errors:
- Look for FLO, DR, or DRY codes; resolve any flow issues first (clean filters, bleed air, check pumps).
- Inspect heater connections:
- Open the equipment bay and check heater terminals for tightness and signs of burning.
- Test heater element:
- With power OFF and heater wires disconnected, measure resistance across the heater terminals.
- OL (open) or near 0 Ω indicates a failed element; replace the heater assembly.
- Check heater relay:
- With power ON and a call for heat, verify (with a meter, if qualified) that voltage is present at the heater terminals.
- If no voltage despite a heat call, the relay or control board is likely faulty and should be replaced.
