Wellis Economy Heating Mode Active (Not a Fault)

Display shows EC or ECO, and the spa heats only during filtration cycles.

Possible Causes

Spa set to Economy mode in settings, user misunderstanding of heating modes, filtration cycles too short for the desired temperature.

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Note: EC is typically a mode indicator, not an error. The spa will only heat during programmed filter cycles.

1. Check the current mode:
- Press the mode or settings button on the topside panel.
- Cycle through modes (e.g., Standard, Economy, Sleep) until Standard or the desired mode is selected.
2. Adjust the filtration schedule:
- Increase filter cycle duration or frequency if you prefer Economy mode but need more heating time.
3. Monitor the temperature:
- Allow several hours for the spa to reach the set temperature after changing modes.
