Air Lock in Jet Pump
Jet pump runs, but no water comes out of the jets after refill.

Possible Causes
Pump not primed after draining; air trapped in the suction line; high point in plumbing trapping air; slice valves closed during start-up.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before loosening any unions.
- 1. Verify water level:
- Ensure the spa is filled above all jets and the skimmer.
- 2. Open all valves:
- Confirm slice valves on both sides of the pump are fully open.
- 3. Bleed the pump:
- Loosen the discharge union on the affected pump until air and water escape.
- Retighten once a steady stream of water flows.
- 4. Cycle pump:
- Restore power and turn the pump on and off a few times to help purge air.
- 5. If still no flow: Repeat bleeding at both suction and discharge unions. Persistent issues may indicate a suction blockage that requires professional service.
