Possible Causes
Tank not seated correctly, tank full float stuck, continuous drain hose incorrectly installed, faulty tank presence switch.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Always unplug the unit before reaching inside the tank compartment.
Steps:
- 1. Remove and reinstall tank: Pull out the water tank completely, then slide it back in firmly until it clicks or sits flush. Ensure no objects prevent its full insertion.
- 2. Check float: Inspect the float inside the tank for free movement. Clean any slime or mineral deposits that might cause sticking.
- 3. Verify continuous drain setup: If using a hose, ensure it is connected to the correct drain outlet and is not causing backflow into the tank area. The hose should slope downward with no kinks.
- 4. Inspect tank switch: Look for a small micro-switch or sensor lever in the tank cavity. Press it gently to confirm it moves and clicks. Clean around it if obstructed.
- 5. Replace tank switch if faulty: If the switch does not change state when pressed (checked with a multimeter), replace the Beko tank presence switch assembly.
