Steps:

• Tank inspection: Remove the water tank and inspect it for cracks, warping, or missing gaskets. Replace the tank if damaged.
• Clean drain channel: With the tank removed, locate the drain outlet from the evaporator tray. Use a flexible brush or pipe cleaner to remove any slime and debris.
• Check continuous drain: If using a continuous drain hose, ensure it is firmly attached, not cracked, and slopes downward. Seal the connection with a clamp if necessary.
• Defrost ice: If ice is visible on the evaporator and drip tray, move the unit to a warmer room and allow it to defrost completely before reuse.
• Reassemble and test: Reinstall the tank securely and run the unit while monitoring for leaks.
