Water Tank Level Sensor or Float Switch Fault
The dehumidifier shows E7 and stops; this sometimes occurs when the water tank is inserted or removed.

Possible Causes
Defective tank float switch, misaligned float magnet and reed switch, broken tank level sensor wiring, or a faulty input circuit on the main PCB.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and empty the water tank before inspection.
Steps:
- Tank seating: Remove and reinsert the water tank firmly. Ensure it is fully seated and that any actuator tab on the tank properly engages the internal float switch.
- Clean tank area: Check for debris, mold, or mineral buildup around the float mechanism that could prevent free movement. Clean with mild detergent and dry thoroughly.
- Inspect float: Access the float chamber (usually behind a small cover above the tank). Verify the float moves freely up and down and that the magnet is intact.
- Switch test: With the unit unplugged, disconnect the float switch wires and test continuity with a multimeter while moving the float. The reading should change from open to closed as the float moves.
- Replace parts: If the switch does not change state, replace the tank float switch assembly. Ensure correct orientation and secure mounting.
- Control board: If the switch tests good but E7 persists, the main control PCB input circuit may be faulty.
