• Ambient temperature: Avoid operating in very hot rooms (above the manufacturer’s specifications). Excessive heat can trigger an overload.
• Power reset: Let the unit cool for 30 minutes unplugged, then restart.

• Check the compressor overload protector and its wiring for discoloration or loose connections.
• Measure the compressor's amp draw; if significantly above the nameplate rating, the compressor may be failing.
• If the overload protector or compressor is defective, sealed system service or compressor replacement is required by a professional.
