Dehumidifier displays LO and does not start dehumidifying

Steps to resolve LO:

• Check room temperature: Confirm the room is above the minimum operating temperature listed in your Whynter manual (often around 41°F / 5°C).
• Relocate the unit: Move the dehumidifier away from cold windows, exterior doors, or unheated areas.
• Allow warm-up: Let the unit sit unplugged in a warmer room for at least 30 minutes, then plug in and test.
• Sensor inspection: If LO appears even in a warm room, the ambient thermistor may be faulty and require replacement.
