Safety First: Unplug the ice maker before working near the fan and compressor.

• Access the condenser fan: Remove the rear lower panel to expose the condenser fan and coil.
• Check for obstructions: Remove any debris, insulation, or wiring that may be blocking the fan blade. Spin the blade by hand; it should move freely.
• Test the fan motor: Disconnect the fan wiring and measure motor resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed motor. If you are qualified, you can apply 120 VAC directly to the motor to confirm operation.
• Inspect wiring and connector: Ensure that the harness from the control board to the fan is not damaged and is fully seated.
• Replace the fan motor: If the motor is seized or electrically open, install a new OEM Amana condenser fan motor, transfer the blade if needed, and secure wiring away from moving parts.
