• Clean and realign the sensor: Wipe the sensor lenses and ensure the emitter and receiver are aligned and secure.
• Check the harness: Inspect the sensor wiring for damage and reseat the connector at the control board.
• Test operation: Restore power and observe if the unit now recognizes an empty bin and resumes ice production.
• Replace the sensor or board: If the bin still reads full with no ice present, replace the bin level sensor. If the issue persists, the main control board may be faulty.
