Door or bin switch error; the unit will not run with E18 displayed.

Safety First: Unplug the unit before accessing any switches.

Steps:

• Check door closure: Ensure the bin door closes fully and that the gasket is not obstructed.
• Inspect switch: Locate the door or bin switch (often near the hinge). Press it by hand and listen for a click. If there is no click or it feels loose, replace the switch.
• Magnetic sensors: If your Arktic model uses a magnetic reed switch, verify that the magnet is still attached to the door and aligned with the switch body.
• Test continuity: Use a multimeter to test the switch. Replace it if it does not open or close properly.
