Steps:

• 1. Level the unit: Ensure the ice maker is on a stable, level surface. Adjust feet if provided.
• 2. Check for loose parts: Remove the outer panels and gently shake them to identify rattling points. Tighten any loose screws or brackets.
• 3. Inspect fan: Spin the condenser fan by hand. If it feels rough, wobbly, or makes noise, replace the fan motor.
• 4. Listen to pump: During operation, isolate whether noise comes from the water pump area. If grinding or buzzing is localized there, clean or replace the pump.
• 5. Harvest motor: If noise occurs mainly during ice release, inspect the harvest motor and gears for wear. Replace if teeth are stripped or motor is excessively loud.
