Safety First: Disconnect power before tightening or touching any moving parts.

Level the unit: Use a level to check the unit's front-to-back and side-to-side stability. Adjust the leveling legs until the unit is stable.
Tighten panels: Check all screws on the front, side, and top panels. Tighten any loose fasteners.
Inspect fan motor: With the power off, spin the condenser fan by hand. If it feels rough, noisy, or wobbly, replace the fan motor.
Check compressor mounts: Inspect the rubber grommets under the compressor. Replace them if cracked or collapsed.

When to call a technician: Grinding or metallic noises from the compressor itself indicate an internal failure and require professional service.
