• Verify fan operation: Confirm that the evaporator fan runs when the unit is cooling. Replace it if it is not operating.
• Clean condenser: Remove dust from the condenser coils to improve heat rejection.
• Relocate unit: If installed in a very hot area, move the unit to a cooler location within Hotpoint's specified ambient temperature range.
