The display shows ADD or ADD WATER; the unit beeps and will not start the ice cycle.

Safety first: Unplug the ice maker before cleaning the reservoir.

• Fill tank: Add water to the reservoir up to the indicated MAX line.
• Clean sensor area: If the ADD message remains, clean the float or probes with a soft brush and mild detergent, then rinse thoroughly.
• Check wiring: Access the base of the unit and trace the sensor wires to the control board. Ensure the connector is fully seated.
• Reset: Plug the unit back in and press the power/start button to clear the ADD message.

If the ADD warning persists with a full tank and a clean sensor, replace the water level sensor assembly.
