Possible Causes

Loose or damaged keypad ribbon cable, Failed display/keypad board, Moisture or corrosion on the UI board, Faulty main control board UI port

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the front panel or display assembly.

Steps:

  • Access the user interface: Remove the front panel to expose the display/keypad module.
  • Check the ribbon cable: Ensure the ribbon cable between the display and main control board is fully seated and not pinched or damaged. Reseat both ends.
  • Inspect for moisture: Look for condensation or water intrusion around the display. Dry the area and correct any gasket or panel issues causing leaks.
  • Test the keypad: With power restored, press buttons and observe the response. If unresponsive or erratic, the display/keypad board may be defective.

Repair: Replace the display / keypad board if physical damage or failure is evident. If a new UI does not resolve E11, the main control board may need replacement.
