The ice maker runs but produces very small, hollow, or misshapen ice bullets.

Possible Causes
Scale buildup on evaporator fingers, Incorrect water level due to a faulty inlet valve or float, High ambient temperature, Weak compressor performance
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off and unplug the unit before cleaning internal components.
Steps:
- Descale evaporator: Drain the water tank. Mix a solution of food-safe descaler or white vinegar and water (per Sencor manual). Fill the reservoir and run a cleaning cycle if available, or let the solution sit in contact with the evaporator for 20–30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clean water afterward.
- Check water level: Ensure the float and water level sensor are working so that the correct amount of water reaches the ice tray. Clean the float mechanism if it sticks.
- Ambient conditions: Move the ice maker to a cooler location away from direct sunlight or heat sources. High room temperature reduces ice size.
- Monitor compressor: If descaling and environmental changes do not help and ice remains very small, the compressor may be weakening. Professional diagnosis may be required.
