Safety first: Unplug the unit before internal inspection.

Reduce thickness setting: Adjust the ice thickness control to a thinner setting as per the user manual.
Clean evaporator: Descale the evaporator plate to ensure quick and even ice release during harvest.
Check bin temperature: Make sure the bin door closes properly and the bin is not exposed to warm drafts that cause melting and refreezing.
Inspect sensor: Verify that the thickness sensor is clean and firmly attached. Replace if it appears faulty.
Monitor ice: After adjustments, monitor ice shape over several hours to confirm improvement.

Ice cubes are too large or fused together in clumps.
