Reduced Ice Production
The ice maker produces ice, but the output is very low compared to normal.

Possible Causes
Dirty condenser coil, High ambient temperature, Scale buildup on the evaporator, Partially blocked water filter
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before cleaning coils or internal parts.
- Clean condenser: Remove the front or rear grille and vacuum dust from the condenser coil. Improved airflow increases ice production.
- Check room conditions: Verify that the ambient temperature is within Teka's recommended range and that the unit has proper ventilation clearances.
- Descale evaporator: Run a full cleaning/descaling cycle to remove mineral deposits that insulate the evaporator and slow ice formation.
- Replace water filter: If equipped, replace the water filter cartridge. Restricted flow can reduce ice output.
- Monitor cycles: After maintenance, monitor several cycles to see if production returns to normal. If not, further diagnosis of the refrigeration system may be needed.
