Safety: Disconnect power before removing the ice maker.

• Check ice maker switch: Ensure the on/off switch or wire bail arm is in the ON position.
• Verify freezer temperature: Confirm the freezer is at or below 10°F (-12°C). Adjust settings and allow 24 hours if too warm.
• Inspect for jams: Remove the ice bin and look for ice blocking the ejector arm or bail arm. Clear any obstructions.
• Test ice maker: On many Whirlpool units, you can initiate a test cycle using a small test button or jumper. If the ice maker does not move or fill, replace the ice maker assembly.
