Possible Causes

Stripped or broken turntable coupler, Failed turntable motor, Turntable support wheels jammed with debris, Loose wiring to the turntable motor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the microwave before accessing the underside or internal components.

  • Check glass tray and support: Remove the glass tray and roller ring. Clean them and the cavity floor. Ensure the roller ring moves freely.
  • Inspect coupler: Check the plastic coupler that fits onto the motor shaft for cracks or wear. Replace it if damaged.
  • Test motor (qualified persons): Access the turntable motor from the bottom of the unit. Measure its resistance; an open circuit indicates a failed motor. Replace it with a Gorenje-compatible turntable motor.
  • Reassemble and test: After replacement, reassemble the unit and test it with a light load on the tray.
