Microwave displays LOC or a lock icon and will not start or accept most button presses.

Safety: No electrical risk for this issue; it is a control feature.

Steps to clear child lock (typical Hisense procedure, but check your manual):

• Press and hold the Stop/Cancel button for 3–5 seconds until the LOC indicator disappears.
• On some models, press and hold the 0 key or a dedicated Lock key for several seconds.
• Once cleared, test normal operation.

If LOC will not clear:

• Unplug the microwave for 5 minutes, then reconnect and try the unlock sequence again.
• If the lock remains stuck, the keypad or control PCB may be faulty and require technician service.
