How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No internal repair is needed for this condition.
- Disable control lock: On most Monogram microwaves, press and hold the Clear/Off or Lock Controls key for 3–5 seconds until the LOC indicator disappears. Refer to your user manual for the exact key combination.
- Test keypad: After unlocking, test several keys. If some keys remain unresponsive, the keypad may be failing.
- Power reset: If LOC will not clear, disconnect power for 5 minutes, restore power, and try the unlock sequence again.
- Keypad replacement: If the lock indicator behaves erratically or keys are stuck, consider replacing the control panel / keypad assembly.
