The microwave runs but is very noisy; rattling or scraping sounds come from inside the cavity.

Safety: Unplug the appliance before handling glass components.

Checks:

• Remove the glass tray and roller ring. Clean the cavity floor thoroughly.
• Inspect the roller ring for flat spots or broken wheels and replace it if damaged.
• Check the glass tray for chips or warping and replace it if not sitting flat.
• Ensure the turntable coupler is firmly seated on the motor shaft.

Reassemble and test. If noise persists, the turntable motor or internal fan may be the source and should be inspected.
