Possible Causes
Corrupted control firmware, Failed main PCB, Power surge damage, Shorted low-voltage regulator on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the microwave from mains before opening the cabinet.
- Step 1 – Hard reset: Unplug the microwave for at least 15 minutes. Press and hold any button for 10 seconds (with power disconnected) to help discharge residual power. Plug back in and test.
- Step 2 – Check outlet and supply: Verify that the wall outlet provides stable voltage and that there are no frequent power interruptions or surges. Avoid using undersized extension cords.
- Step 3 – Inspect control board: Remove the control panel and visually inspect the main PCB for burnt components, bulging capacitors, or corrosion. If you see severe damage, the board must be replaced.
- Step 4 – Replace control PCB: Order the correct OBH Nordica control board using the full model number. Transfer any wiring harnesses one by one to the new board to avoid misconnection.
- Step 5 – Firmware: Some models may require firmware initialization by a service tool. If the new board does not resolve E10, contact an authorized service center.
