Possible Causes
Burned-out cavity lamp, Loose lamp connection, Faulty lamp holder
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the microwave before replacing the lamp.
Steps:
- 1. Access lamp: Remove the lamp cover (rear, side, or top depending on Vida model).
- 2. Replace bulb: Install a new microwave-rated bulb of the same type and wattage.
- 3. Check holder: Ensure the lamp holder contacts are clean and not burned.
If a new bulb does not fix the issue, the lamp circuit on the control board may be faulty and require professional service.
