Pot Sticking / Vacuum Effect
The inner pot is difficult to remove; it appears stuck to the heating plate after cooking.

Possible Causes
Condensation vacuum between the pot and heater, Warped inner pot bottom, Residue baked between the pot and plate
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the cooker is unplugged and not under pressure.
- Allow cooling: Let the cooker cool for 15–20 minutes; thermal contraction often releases the pot.
- Break the seal: Gently rotate the inner pot left and right using oven mitts. Do not pry with metal tools, as this can damage the heater plate.
- Clean contact surfaces: After removal, thoroughly clean the bottom of the pot and the heater plate to remove any sticky residue.
- Check for warping: Place the pot on a flat surface. If it rocks, replace the inner pot.
Persistent sticking with a clean, flat pot may indicate a deformed heater plate, which should be inspected by a technician.
