Possible Causes

Shorted NTC sensor, Moisture or condensation inside the sensor connector, Sensor wires shorted to the chassis, Faulty main control PCB interpreting the sensor signal

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the multicooker and let it cool completely. Do not attempt to cook while E2 is active.

  • Check for overheating: Remove the inner pot and inspect the heating plate for burnt food or melted plastic. Clean any residue with a soft cloth once cool.
  • Dry the interior: If you recently washed the cooker or spilled liquid inside, moisture may be causing a short. Leave the lid open and the unit unplugged for several hours to dry thoroughly.
  • Inspect sensor wiring: Remove the bottom cover. Look for any melted insulation or wires touching the metal chassis near the heating plate or sensor.
  • Connector cleaning: Disconnect the NTC sensor plug from the main PCB. If there is visible moisture or corrosion, gently dry and clean with isopropyl alcohol and let it evaporate completely before reconnecting.
  • Test sensor (advanced): Measure resistance of the NTC at room temperature. A reading near 0 Ω indicates a shorted sensor that must be replaced.

If E2 persists after drying and cleaning, replace the NTC sensor assembly. If a new sensor does not resolve the issue, the main control PCB is likely defective.
