Possible Causes
Food residue between pot and heating plate, Slight warping of inner pot, Rapid cooling causing suction, Overfilled pot causing side sticking
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not forcefully yank the pot while the cooker is hot; use oven mitts.
- Allow to cool: Let the cooker cool for 10–15 minutes; metal contraction often releases the pot.
- Gently rotate: Use oven mitts to gently twist the inner pot side to side to break any adhesion.
- Clean contact surfaces: Once removed, clean the outside of the inner pot and the heating plate to remove any residue.
- Inspect for warping: Replace the inner pot if the base is visibly warped.
