Possible Causes
Warped inner pot rubbing against housing, Foreign object trapped between pot and heating plate, Loose heating plate mounting screws
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and allow it to cool before inspection.
- Remove inner pot: Take out the pot and inspect the bottom and sides for dents or warping.
- Check for debris: Look at the heating plate and surrounding ring for any foreign objects (spoons, grains, etc.) and remove them.
- Tighten mounting screws: With the bottom cover removed, tighten the screws that secure the heating plate to the chassis.
- Replace pot if needed: If the pot is significantly warped and does not sit flat, replace it with a genuine Mealthy inner pot.
Warning: Do not force a deformed pot into the cooker; it can damage the heating plate and sensors.
