The P1 error appears on pressure-capable models; the cooker does not build pressure.

Safety first: Unplug and allow the cooker to cool and depressurize before inspection.

• Check valve position: Ensure the steam release valve is set to the sealing position according to the manual.
• Inspect lid gasket: Remove the silicone sealing ring from the lid. Check for cracks, deformation, or food buildup. Clean thoroughly or replace if hardened or stretched.
• Clean float valve: Disassemble the float valve (if accessible) and clean the pin and silicone cap. Ensure it moves freely and seals properly.
• Check for steam leaks: During a test run with water only, observe for escaping steam around the lid, handle, or sensor fittings. Replace any leaking seals or O-rings.
