Possible Causes
Unit stuck in keep-warm mode, firmware misconfiguration, faulty temperature sensor calibration, control PCB logic fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Ensure the cooker is on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Steps:
- Check manual: On some Russell Hobbs models, H0 simply indicates a keep-warm or holding mode. Confirm in the user manual whether this is an error or a status code.
- Cancel and reselect program: Press Cancel/Off, then select a full cooking program (e.g., Rice, Stew) and start again.
- Power cycle: Unplug for 5–10 minutes, then retry. If H0 appears immediately and no heating occurs, treat it as a sensor/control fault.
- Inspect sensor and wiring: Follow the same checks as for E1/E2: verify the NTC sensor and wiring harness are intact and properly connected.
Note: If the code is not documented in the manual and persists, contact Russell Hobbs support or a technician for model-specific diagnosis.
