E01
The oven will not heat; the display is on, the fan may run, but the temperature does not rise in any mode.
Main Heating Element Circuit Failure
E02
The oven overheats rapidly; the temperature far exceeds the set value, often burning food. The cooling fan may run continuously.
Temperature Sensor / Thermostat Failure
E03
The oven does not reach the set temperature; preheat takes excessively long or never completes. The display may show E03 after some time.
Insufficient Heating / Element Power Loss
E04
The display shows E04 and the oven stops heating; this often occurs after a long cooking or self-clean cycle. The cooling fan may run, but the oven remains cold.
Overtemperature Safety Cut-Out Tripped
E05
The display shows E05 and the oven will not start any heating program. The clock and buttons still work.
Temperature Sensor Open Circuit
E06
The display shows E06; the oven may overheat or behave erratically with fluctuating temperatures.
Temperature Sensor Short Circuit
E07
Display shows E07; oven functions may be locked, or some heating modes unavailable.
Selector Switch / Mode Encoder Fault
E08
Display shows E08; the oven does not respond correctly to temperature knob or keypad inputs.
Temperature Control Potentiometer / Keypad Fault
E09
Display shows E09; the oven may shut down unexpectedly or not power up fully.
Low Voltage / Power Supply Fault
E10
Display shows E10; the oven cooling fan does not run or runs erratically, sometimes causing shutdown.
Cooling Fan Circuit Failure
E11
Display shows E11; the oven light does not work, and some models may refuse to start a program.
Oven Lamp Circuit Fault
E12
Display shows E12; fan-assisted modes do not work, but conventional heating may still function.
Convection Fan Motor Failure
E13
Display shows E13; the grill function does not operate, but other modes may still heat.
Grill Element Circuit Failure
E14
Display shows E14; the oven door lock engages or remains locked unexpectedly (on models with pyrolytic/self-clean).
Door Lock Mechanism Fault
E15
Display shows E15; the oven will not start and behaves as if the door is open even when closed.
Door Switch / Door Sensor Fault
E16
Display shows E16; the internal clock/timer resets randomly or cannot be set, and the oven may not start timed programs.
Clock / Timer Circuit Fault
E17
Display shows E17; touch controls are unresponsive or behave erratically (ghost touches).
Capacitive Touch Panel Fault
E18
Display shows E18; child lock cannot be activated or deactivated, or oven remains locked in standby.
Child Lock / Software Lock Fault
E19
Display shows E19; oven stops mid-cycle and may beep, often after a power fluctuation.
Internal Communication Error
E20
Display shows E20; pyrolytic self-clean cycle cannot start or aborts shortly after starting.
Pyrolytic System Fault
Symptom
Oven does not heat at all in any mode; display and lights work, but cavity remains cold.
Total Heating Loss
Symptom
Oven door does not close properly; heat escapes, and the front panel becomes excessively hot.
Door Alignment / Seal Failure
Symptom
Oven door glass is cracked or shattered, but the oven still operates.
Door Glass Failure
Symptom
Oven enamel interior is flaking or rust spots appear inside the cavity.
Cavity Enamel Degradation
Symptom
Oven fan runs but there is little or no heat in fan-assisted modes; conventional top/bottom heat may still work.
Convection Heating Failure
Symptom
Oven heats but temperature is significantly lower or higher than the set value; food undercooked or burnt despite correct settings.
Temperature Calibration / Regulation Error
Symptom
Oven interior light does not work, but heating and other functions are normal.
Oven Lamp Failure
Symptom
Oven light works but oven will not start heating; no error code displayed.
Function Selector / Mode Switch Failure
Symptom
Oven produces a buzzing or humming noise from the control area when heating.
Electrical Hum / Relay Noise
Symptom
Oven shelves tilt or slide out too easily, making trays unstable.
Rack Support / Guide Wear
Symptom
Oven trips the household circuit breaker or RCD as soon as heating is started.
Earth Leakage / Short Circuit
Symptom
The oven display is completely blank and unresponsive; no lights or sounds.
No Power / Dead Appliance
Symptom
The oven display works, but some buttons or touch areas do not respond.
Partial Keypad Failure
Symptom
The oven emits a strong burning smell or smoke during normal cooking (not just first use).
Overheating / Residue Burning
Symptom
The oven interior light stays on all the time, even when the door is closed and the oven is off.
Lamp Control / Door Switch Stuck
Symptom
The oven leaks heat and sometimes steam from around the door during cooking.
Door Seal / Gasket Leakage
Symptom
The oven makes loud rattling or scraping noises when the fan is running.
Fan Noise / Mechanical Interference
Symptom
The oven timer counts down, but heating does not start until a manual confirmation is pressed, or the oven appears 'dead' until the clock is set.
Timer / Auto Mode Misconfiguration
Symptom
The oven's exterior control panel and knobs become excessively hot to touch during use.
Cooling / Ventilation Deficiency
