How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and allow the oven to cool.
Check Grill Safety Thermostat:
- Access the top of the oven cavity by removing the top cover.
- Locate the grill safety thermostat (a small round or rectangular device with two terminals, mounted near the grill element area).
- Test for continuity across the thermostat at room temperature. If it is open and a non-resettable type, replace it.
- Inspect wiring connections to and from the thermostat for burning or looseness.
- If the thermostat is OK, the main control board may be misinterpreting the safety circuit.
