Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the oven off at the breaker and allow it to sit for at least 5 minutes before touching the control panel or removing any covers.
- Power reset: Turn the circuit breaker off for 5–10 minutes, then restore power. If F0 clears and does not return, it may have been a transient glitch.
- Check for stuck keys: With power off, gently press each button on the control panel several times to free any stuck key. Look for signs of liquid spills or grease around the keypad and clean the surface only (do not flood with liquid).
- Inspect ribbon cable: If you can safely remove the control panel (after shutting off power), check the keypad ribbon cable where it plugs into the control board. Reseat the connector and ensure it is fully inserted and not damaged or corroded.
- Test keypad: If the error returns immediately after power-up or certain keys do not respond, the touchpad membrane is likely defective and should be replaced as an assembly with the control panel or UI, depending on the Dacor model.
- Replace control parts: If a new keypad does not resolve the issue, the electronic oven control (EOC) / user interface board may be faulty and should be replaced.
Warning: Do not operate the oven with the control panel disassembled or with exposed wiring. If you are not comfortable working around live circuits, contact a qualified technician.
