The oven makes loud banging or popping noises when heating or cooling.

• Identify source: Run the oven and listen carefully to locate the area of the noise (top, sides, rear). Then switch it off and allow it to cool.
• Tighten screws: Remove the top and rear panels and tighten any loose screws on brackets, panels, and element supports.
• Check element mounts: Ensure heating elements are firmly clipped and not flexing excessively. Replace any broken clips or supports.
• Inspect cavity liner: Look for obvious warping or buckling. Minor expansion noises are normal; severe deformation may require cavity or oven replacement.
