Possible Causes

Intermittent temperature sensor, loose sensor connection, failing main PCB control circuit, poor door seal

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing the sensor or control board.

  • Sensor wiring: Inspect the NTC sensor wiring from the cavity to the PCB for loose connectors or intermittent breaks. Reseat all plugs.
  • Wiggle test: With the oven running (only if safe and qualified), gently move the sensor harness and observe if temperature readings jump. If so, repair or replace the harness.
  • Door seal: Replace a worn gasket that allows heat to escape, causing the control to overshoot.
  • Control board: If sensor and wiring are stable, the main PCB’s control algorithm or components may be failing. Replace the main PCB.
