Possible Causes
Faulty electronic control board power supply section, Blown internal fuse on the PCB, Loose connection at the mains terminal block, Defective line filter module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the circuit breaker and verify no voltage is present at the oven terminals before opening any covers.
- Check household supply: Confirm the wall outlet or junction box has the correct voltage using a multimeter. Reset any tripped circuit breakers.
- Inspect terminal block: Remove the rear cover to access the mains terminal block. Look for burnt terminals or loose screw connections. Tighten connections and replace any melted terminal block.
- Internal fuse: Many Fagor ovens have a small glass or ceramic fuse on the control board or near the line filter. With power disconnected, remove and test the fuse for continuity. Replace only with a fuse of the same rating if blown. Investigate for underlying short circuits before replacing.
- Control board: If the fuse is good and power is present at the board input but the display remains dead, the low-voltage power supply section on the PCB is likely faulty. Replace the electronic control module as a complete unit.
