Possible Causes
Aged or drifting temperature sensor, Worn mechanical thermostat, Poor door seal causing heat loss, Control PCB calibration drift
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power before accessing internal components.
- Verify with an oven thermometer: Place a reliable oven thermometer in the center of the cavity and compare the actual temperature to the set temperature over several cycles.
- Inspect door seal: Check the Falcon oven door gasket for gaps, tears, or compression. Replace it if not sealing properly.
- Test temperature sensor/thermostat: Measure the resistance of the Falcon oven temperature sensor and compare it to the specifications, or test the mechanical thermostat for correct switching. Replace it if readings are out of range.
- Adjust calibration (if available): Some Falcon models allow temperature offset adjustment via the user menu. Refer to the user manual to fine-tune the temperature.
