Possible Causes
Drifting RTD sensor, poor sensor connection, corroded sensor plug, failing EOC analog input.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Turn off power at the breaker before removing any panels.
- Check sensor resistance versus temperature:
- Remove and disconnect the oven temperature sensor.
- Measure resistance at room temperature (approximately 1050–1100 Ω expected).
- If the reading is significantly off but not fully open or shorted, replace the Oven Temperature Sensor (RTD).
- Inspect connectors:
- Clean the sensor connector and its mating connector at the EOC.
- Look for green corrosion or loose pins; repair or replace the Sensor Harness if needed.
- Control board evaluation:
- If a new sensor does not resolve F32, the EOC input circuit may be faulty.
- Replace the Electronic Oven Control (EOC) if all wiring and the sensor are confirmed good.
