Possible Causes
RTD sensor reading too high, shorted sensor harness, sensor wires touching each other, failed EOC.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Disconnect power at the breaker before testing.
- Inspect sensor wiring:
- Remove the oven temperature sensor and inspect its leads.
- Ensure the two sensor wires are not touching or pinched together.
- Measure resistance:
- At room temperature, measure the sensor resistance; if it is far below specification (approximately 1050–1100 Ω), replace the Oven Temperature Sensor (RTD).
- Check harness for shorts:
- Disconnect the harness at both the sensor and the EOC.
- Check continuity between the two harness conductors; if it is near 0 Ω with the sensor removed, the harness is shorted and must be replaced.
- Replace EOC if needed:
- If the sensor and harness are good but F33 persists, replace the Electronic Oven Control (EOC).
