Possible Causes

Open oven temperature sensor, Broken sensor wiring, Loose sensor connector at EOC, Corroded sensor terminals

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety First: Turn off power at the breaker before testing.

  • Access the sensor: Locate the oven temperature sensor at the rear of the oven cavity. Remove mounting screws and gently pull it forward to access the connector.
  • Test the sensor: Disconnect it and measure its resistance at room temperature (~1050–1100 Ω). If the reading is infinite (open), replace the sensor.
  • Check the harness: If the sensor is good, check the continuity from the sensor connector to the EOC connector. Repair or replace any open wiring.
  • Reseat connectors: Reseat the sensor connector at both ends to ensure good contact.
