Oven door will not close fully, heat escaping around door, no error code

Safety first: Ensure the oven is cool before working on the door.

• Inspect hinges: Open the door fully and check for excessive play or sagging. If the door drops or does not align with the cabinet front, the hinges may be worn.
• Check hinge receivers: Verify that the hinge brackets in the oven body are secure and not bent. Tighten mounting screws.
• Replace hinges: Remove the door (usually by opening to a specific angle and lifting off the hinges) and replace both hinges with matching Grundig parts.
• Inspect and replace seal: If the gasket is flattened or torn, pull it out of its retaining slots and fit a new door seal.

Tip: Always replace hinges in pairs to maintain even alignment.
