Hoover oven display and controls are completely dead; there are no lights or response when turning knobs or pressing buttons.

  • Confirm the wall switch is on and the circuit breaker has not tripped.
  • Test the outlet or power supply with another appliance, if possible.
• Inspect mains terminal block:
  • Remove the rear cover to access the terminal block.
  • Check for loose screws, burnt wires, or melted plastic.
  • Tighten or replace components as necessary.
• Check internal fuse (if fitted):
  • Locate any inline or PCB-mounted fuses.
  • Test for continuity and replace with the exact same rating if blown.
• If power reaches PCB but oven is dead: The main control board's power supply section is likely faulty. Replacement of the PCB is usually required and should be performed by a professional.
